What do P25 / P50 / P75 mean?
Percentiles: lower quartile, median, upper quartile.
+
P50 is the typical midpoint; P75 is usually needed for high-scarcity skills or exceptional candidates. P25 can work for well-supplied roles with strong employer brand and clear growth paths.
How do you choose the recommended offer band?
Balance acceptance likelihood and approval governance.
+
As a default, we recommend a band around the median (P50) and adjust for scarcity, interview quality, and time-to-fill risk. Governance notes make the “why” explainable for approvals.
How do regions affect salary ranges?
Cost of labor + competition + remote policy.
+
Regional ranges reflect local supply, industry competition, and remote/hybrid constraints. For global teams, define a location policy and then benchmark within that policy to avoid comp drift.
